Terms of sale
Terms for consumer purchases on coax.no. Business customers (B2B) buy through the enquiry form and are not covered by these terms.

2. Prices
All prices are in Norwegian kroner and include value added tax.
How the price is set
Prices on coax.no are in NOK and include 25 % VAT. Shipping costs are added and shown clearly at checkout before you complete your purchase.
3. Ordering and formation of the contract
When your order becomes a binding contract, and when we may reject it.
Formation of the contract
The contract becomes binding when we confirm your order by email. You must be at least 18 years old to shop on coax.no.
When we may reject an order
We reserve the right to reject orders in the event of obvious pricing or typographical errors, lack of stock or suspected fraud. If so, we will contact you and refund any amount paid.
5. Delivery
Delivery time, shipping cost and when the risk passes to you.
Delivery time and shipping
We dispatch your order as soon as it has been prepared. If no specific delivery time has been agreed, we deliver within a reasonable time, cf. section 6 of the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout and is based on the delivery address and the weight and volume of the product.
We ship with Posten and Bring.
We deliver to the whole of mainland Norway.
Passing of risk
The risk for the goods passes to you when you, or a third party designated by you, have taken physical possession of the goods.
6. Right of withdrawal
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act. The period runs from the day after you received the item.
How to exercise your right of withdrawal
14 days from receipt
- Let us know within 14 days, preferably using the standardised cancellation form or by email to post@coax.no.
- Return the item within 14 days of giving notice.
- The item must be returned in the same condition as you received it, with the original packaging if possible.
Returns and refunds
You pay the return shipping costs. We refund the full purchase price, including the original shipping cost, within 14 days of receiving the item or confirmation that it has been sent back.
We use the original payment method for refunds unless otherwise agreed.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
There are no exceptions to the right of withdrawal beyond those that follow from section 22 of the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act. Coax does not sell goods made to your specifications, so the exception for customised goods does not apply.
Installation does not remove the right of withdrawal. If you have handled the goods more than was necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and function, for example by installing them, we may require you to compensate for the reduction in value, cf. section 25 of the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act.
7. Complaints
The right to complain follows the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act.
Time limit for reporting a fault
5 years for durable goods
For hot water tanks and other goods intended to last substantially longer than two years, the complaint deadline is 5 years from the delivery date, cf. section 27 of the Consumer Purchases Act.
You must notify us within a reasonable time after you discovered the fault, and no later than two months after the time of discovery.
How to make a complaint
Send an email to post@coax.no with your order number, a description of the fault and preferably photos.
We assess repair, replacement, a price reduction or cancellation of the purchase in accordance with the rules of the Consumer Purchases Act.
8. Guarantee
Coax provides no guarantee of its own. Your rights follow the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act.
No separate Coax guarantee
Coax provides no guarantee beyond the statutory right to complain. That right is described in section 7, and for goods intended to last significantly longer than two years the deadline is 5 years from the delivery date.
